HOUSE BILL 711

CORRECTIONAL INDUSTRIES ACT – Amends existing law to provide that contracts shall meet certain requirements, to remove a provision regarding the board entering into contracts, and to provide that the Board of Correction shall make all reasonable efforts to ensure that non-inmate workers are not displaced when determining prices.
